Microsoft.Ajax - how to turn on/off during development.

hi there.

I am using Microsoft Ajax, the script manager, updatepanel and progress panel. During development, i would love to be able to switch it on and off while im testing stuff.

What is the easiest way? (A button i can place at the bottom of the page would be great.)

Currently i comment out the update panel in my master page, however tedious. :)

thanks

thanks,

I ended up using the following for my testing and will work on an on/off switch later.
protected override void OnInit(EventArgs e)
{
	base.OnInit(e);
	ScriptManager1.EnablePartialRendering = false;
}

Can I ask why exactly do you want to switch it on and off during development? Is it for debugging purpose? If yes, even ajax postbacks can be debugged ..
