Toshiba Tecra M9-S5515 - installing additional RAM memory

I have a Tecra M9-S5515 laptop. The users guide shows only one memory slot under a removable panal on the bottom of the computer, yet the system specs say there are two slots. I am told that the other memory slot is under the keyboard, but the users manual does not show how to remove the keyboard to access this memory.  Any instructions on how to remove the keyboard to access the memory under the keyboard is appreciated.

Umm, the PDF is the official guide, so I think it would be better to go with it. BTW make sure you have the correct memory (200 pin DDR2 SDRAM). There is also no keyboard removal needed.

Your suggestion to remove the keyboard is correct.  I found a very accurate "how-to" at: http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Tecra-M9/remove-keyboard-replace-memory.htm.  I Googled "Toshiba Tecra install RAM memory" and found this step-by-step instructions with photos.
