group policy settings for terminal server

I have a few things that I would like to change on our group policy for our terminal server users

1. they complain about the grey background that I have set up. Is there a better (easier on the eyes) color that won't affect speed and screen refreshing?
2. they would like to have the 'show desktop' icon available to them. which group policy would that be in?
3. at one of my other sites, I have a number of 'public' workstations that are used for training and the issue is the fact that when a USB memory key is plugged in, they can't select 'safely remove hardware. What group policy setting can I turn on for that feature?

Thanks
Windows Server 2003
