Is it possible switching from eigrp tp ospf without rebooting the router?

hello Expert,

I have three cisco router in production that is running eigrp.
All the routers are in production and due to the fact they provide communication to the atms  i cannot afford  any downtime.
I am preparing to  move from eigrp to ospf ( as per guidance from experts re: earlier post )
Is it possible to achieve the above switch without rebooting the router?

Absolutely. The only time you need to reboot a Cisco router is with an IOS upgrade.

hello Irmoore,

Sorry, I ask the incorrect question .
What i meant is will the router drop connection during the change over and if so how can i minimize downtime while effecting the change over.

Once again sorry for misleading you.
