Outlook/Entourage and downlaoding full messages on IMAP

I have never used a mail client in my entire life.  I have always had some kind of webmail interface for the last 10 years.  Recently my company has forced us to use Entourage on our macs and Outlook on our PC's.  We are connecting via IMAP to the mail server.  We often get 3-8 meg files and also a lot of images inline in the emails.

My question is... How do I make entourage and outlook automatically download the whole message without me having to hit <get entire message> to download the images/attachments??

I know if I use POP I can achieve this, but then my mail will be out of sync on my other machines and web interfaces. So POP is not an option for me here.
