How to download file from SSH?

I have VPS linux i have some files i want to download it from there to my pc is there a way?

I have root access

Notice: Am not talking about downloading file on the VPS box, i want to download a file from there to my pc.

You could use the "scp -r" command.

For connections from Windows to Linux systems, there is also the PSCP tool delivered with the PuTTY suite:

Indeed, WinSCP is a good tool. I'm using it as well. You'll need to use the same credentials like logging in through PUTTY or whatever SSH remote tool.
