RECOVER LOST FILES ON WINDOWS 2003

Hello Folks,

I have accidentally lost few files on the windows 2003 server this morning. I dont have any backup to restore them.
Please can someone advise If I can retrieve the lost files on the server?

Do you mean that the suggestion didn't work, or that the files just weren't recoverable from the hard disk?

it was basically some of my .net scripts pages which got lost, i have rewrote them now anyway .....

thanks for the input anyway ... however, the softwares you have suggested above was not freeware ... and the trial only recover less...

Sorry about that newbie27. It is a bummer that you were not able to recover the files. It can be difficult, especially if the machine is not able to be shutdown right away to prevent those sectors of the disk from being overwritten.

You hadn't mentioned that you were only interested in freeware options. From my experience the best file recovery software is generally a software that cost a bit. It is still cheaper than sending the disks out to a data recovery service.

I hope that you feel your question was at least answered well enough to be deserving of point to be awarded even though the actual recovery was not possible.
