Hi,
Well, you have queries in the report. If you change to the layout view, the fields of each query are surrounded by a frame. If you change to the property sheet you can see to which query the frame belongs.
So, you figure out which query delievers the fields of the line you want to add another line. If you know the query, you also know the frame. Then you expand the frame (you might also be forced to expand the surrounding frames and change the layout of the following fields) and put your new fields into the same frame.

Right now, there are no horizontal lines in the report. All i want is a line after each row of my report, so that it is presentable and easily distinguishable between different rows.

After reading your answer again, i have a feeling you didnt get what i want to do.
This is how my report looks now..Lets name the columns A, B, C, and D
A B C D
1 2 3 5
4 5 6 7
1 1 1 1
All I want is a line after each row like this...
A B C D
1 2 3 5
-------------
4 5 6 7
-------------
1 1 1 1
------------
So that I Can distinguish b/w rows.
Thanks for your help so far.

Hi,
If it's Oracle Reports 6i that's right what I explained. Just draw a line inside the frame of your output.
Maybe you could post your report-file, then I could have a look at it?

cool..I got the line in..now..However, the line is not positioned exactly after each row.. bcos one of my columns is long, and that column is almost 3 lines, whereas the other columns are just one line. So the line strikes over that column.I tried increasing the length of the frame of my columns, but its not allowing me to do that.
Any thoughts??

Mark,
I tried doing what you mentioned..I put a non-repeatable frame around the columns and inside the repeating frame..Still, i see texts from the columns go beyond the non-repeatable frame!!!
I cant seem to figure this thing out.
Thanks for your support so far.

I think i figured it out. Had to set vertical elasticity to variable instead of fixed on the non-repeating frame!!
Thanks a lot Mark. You have been of great help.

I suppose you have a repeating frame around that line. All you have to do is to make the frame larger so you can put the fields you want to have after each line into that frame.
