After more time searching the net, I found information that pointed to the Novell client itself being the problem. &nbsp;Once I uninstalled the client, and cleaned out the registry of major Novell entries, the problem was fixed - files open and save on a timely manner now. &nbsp;Thank you for your help.

Over the past two weeks, I have copied files from Novell to Windows 2003 Enterprise server. &nbsp;I applied the proper rights, and replaced those rights to the child objects. &nbsp;We are noticing that now the files are opening very slowly, even after replacing the rights to the child objects. &nbsp;The workstations are Windows 2000, and we use Office 2003. &nbsp;I am hopeing someone can shed some light on this problem.
