Entry Point Not Found

Experts,

I have a C# class library that I created that I've used in projects before, but now it won't show up through Intellisense when I try to including with "using".  I tried to register it manually, but it says the entry point can't be found.

Ideas?

Did you add a reference to the DLL within your project?

Yes.
This .dll won't even register.  The problem exists long before I try to use it in any project at this point.

what os? how are you registering it manually? -- you said in your other thread that you installed it to the system32 folder, can you verify that it is actually there. if you type the name of the dll into the run prompt, what happens?

The file exists in \system32.  I'm attempting to register it using regsvr32.  It tells me it can't find the entry point whehter I try to register or unregister it.

Surely you're not telling me that there's no way I can use a class library created in C# anywhere else?  The surely must be a way to turn a .net dll into a COM dll.

Is the "entry point not found" error indicative of the fact that it's a .net dll?  Should that message not concern me?

The problem was actually a corrupt project file.  Once I fixed that, everything went back to normal.  Is this IDE a pain in the ass or what?
