How do I recover Contacts for Outlook 2007

I need to move a client's Contact list from one computer to a new one. Since it's not stored in a .pab (Oulook 2003) where do I find it for Outlook 2007?

Contacts are normally stored in the contacts folder of a Micrsoft Outlook PST file . It's user friendly name is "Microsoft Outlook Data" file.
The easiest thing to do since all you need is the contacts folder, you can use the export feature in Outlook to export the contacts folder (Click on File->Import/Export). I would recommend that you export to a PST file then use the same import/export feature on the new computer to import the contacts again.
Hope this helps

We are a part of an exchange evironment but it seems that the Contact list (*.wab i assume) is always stored on the client machine. I don't konw why it's not stored on teh server by default.

Open Outlook as the User in question..
Highlight Contacts.
Go to File > Export> Export to a File>
Now you can choose whatever format you want the contacts exported as .. PST or CSV ...
once done.. on the NEW computer.. login to Outlook and use the IMPORT option to import the contacts back
