Citrix 4.5, Windows 2003

Hello,

I am trying to accomplish the following.

I would like to be able to have users log in through Citrix and because a certain application requires that they have outlook profiles set up for each individual. I would like to front end 3 citrix servers and this means that I would have create 3 different profiles manually for each user. Users also have printers and I would liek to make drives specific for htis application. Now I think this can be accomplished through roaminng profiles but the issue is that these users also have local computers and I do ot want them to run these profiles on their local machine.

How can I do this?

Thanks

Ok you need to use roaming profiles for the citrix portion.  I assume the citrix servers are in their own OU - if not they should be.  Then create a group policy with the settings you want and make sure to enforce loopback - replace on this OU.
What this will do is when your users log into citrix they will get the new group policy and the roaming profiles then when they log onto a 'standard' machine in the domain that group policy will not apply anymore

ASKER

Will this work for the outlook settings. I just need to have them created when log in . Given each citrix server will have outlook already installed we just need to define the outlook profile. Across 3 servers

What I did is the following

I created 2 test servers with citrx and created a test OU and put these servers in there.

I then created a test account.
I ran the setup /admin of the offcie 2007 setup cd and created an .msp file.
I am now trying to create a shared location for the roaming profiles.

Do I know run create  a script and add the .msp line for this to work?

Not sure what your asking?
