ListView Issue - Compact Framework

good day. i have a listview with five (5) items along with a LargeImageList - 32 x 32 icons.

the view is set to LargeIcon.

within the designer everything looks great; however, when i deploy to my emulator (WM 6, Professional VGA) the icons are being cut off. it appears as though they are being displayed as 16 x 16.

any ideas?
