scan for wifi connections and list ssid, signal strength and channel #

Hi Experts, I have a belkin wireless router and want to improve my wireless access in the home.  There are several wifi's in the neighborhood and was wondering how do I scan for wireless networks and display a list with ssid, signal strength and channel #.

Actually, I wanted to create an application using VB to create the application.  I found some similar code on EE but can't get any of it to work.

I am using VB 5 and Vista.

The netstumbler doesnt work either with a belkin router or win vista.  But I appreciate the suggestion.  I was just looking for the code however.
