Problems printing in Adobe Indesign using Open Type fonts
Currently when printing in booklet format any time an open type font is used the printer is defaulting to a system font instead of using the open type font. I have another user running the same setup who can print open type fonts in booklet format fine. I have reloaded the print drivers and removed / reinstalled the adobe suite. Same problem is occuring. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Are either of your users using any Font handline software such as Suitcase or Font Juggler?
ASKER
No, neither user is using any font software. Also, both users are running identical systems. Not sure why one is able to print in booklet using Open Type fonts while the other cannot. Both are printing to the same network printer using identical driver.
have you tried removing and reinstalling the fonts themselves? Fonts are notorious for corrupting.
ASKER
Yes, the fonts have been removed and re-installed. Problem is still occuring.

Several good suggestions were offered, I vote for splitting the points
Please see note above as I apparently cannot object via EE Mobile
Sorry, it is a lot easier when you spell it out like that!
My recommendation: #3 Accept and split between:
23659920 > he said he reinstalled the ppds, but he (apparently) did not recreate the printers themselves which commonly corrupt.
23793938 > offered a viable workaround that could also help with further troubleshooting the issues(s).
