On seemingly random occasions, IE7 will render the text from my page footer partially up the page. &nbsp;In the very few times it does this, the actual position at which it renders the text also seems inconsistent--sometimes it's way up the page and other times only twenty pixels or so. &nbsp;Simply refreshing the page will fix the issue. &nbsp;Even enabling Firebug Lite for IE will cause the text to &quot;pop&quot; into the correct location in the footer.<br />

From my tests, Firefox 2/3 and IE6 do not exhibit this problem at all.<br />

I've tried to read up on similar issues, and I thought this might have been due to floats not being cleared or the so-called guillotine bug in IE, but I've had no luck figuring it out.<br />

Footer text occasionally overlaps page content

Web browsers are applications used primarily to display documents, files and media from the Internet, identified by a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) that can be a page, image, video or other file. Some browsers require the use of add-ons or extensions to safely render the information they receive; others have systems built into them to perform the same functions.
