I/O error when downloading Virtual Machine

HI

Im running vmware esxi 3.5 update 3 with one vm I want to backup my virtual machine so  I power it down go to database and try to download my VM but get I/O error.
Login with root vi VI client
Please explain

How do you download? Are you using FastSCP or WinSCP?

If you are not using any of that, I would recommend using FastSCP for this ...
You will need to enable SSH on ESXi. Use this guide to enable it

Then download FASTSCP from Veeam site (www.veeam.com) its free. Here is the document on it. http://www.veeam.com/datasheets/fastscp_datasheet.pdf
 Then you can use this tool to backup your VM's.

I do it manually by login to vmware host vi VI client with root shutdown vm click on database download vm folder

I think your life would be easier with using the FASTSCP option. It even allows you to schedule the 'transfer of the files'. Would you like to try the FASTSCP option and see if you receive the same error?

I enabled ssh on host works downloaded veeam FASTSCP but when I try to connect to host with veeam get error channel has  been closed please see attachments.
