I need, at least as a test, to turn off error reporting. Is this something I can do via a php.ini file.  Linux.

PHP Version:          5.2.6
Web Server:       Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/

    Accepted Solution

    if you want to log error but not display them (typically for a production server), edit your php.ini :

    display_errors = Off
    log_errors = On
    error_log = "/var/log/php_error.log"
