Hey All,

We have 2 recently configured citrix servers running presentation server 4.5.
xen1 & xen2

I just installed the new framework 3.5 on both of these servers and now I have a problem with one of them. the PNA is set in Direct Access mode on our domain. If I try to access the web console as normal I get an Internal Error. I am only having problem with xen1 if I access the webconsole on xen2, no problems. If I log onto the xen1 server via rdp, it says PNA - Could not contact the citrix server. I am assuming htis is an issue with the Citrix XML configuration. Xen1 is the "farms web console", and the web console has only been configured for xen1. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have to get this working today as tomorrow is the beginning of our company work week.

Well, I figured this one out. .NET Framework 3.5 is not yet compatible with Citrix's Web Interface. This explains why I was having the problem on one server which was the Web Interface Server as the other server did not have the Web Interface Installed. 3.5SP1 is a pain to manually remove by the way.

NEVER apply Windows Updates into a production environment without testing.  You need a lab environment.  Even a free product will help.

ALWAYS wait until Citrix has tested Windows Updates BEFORE you do your testing.  http://support.citrix.com/article/ctx119490

Well I figured this, but unlike my other servers, I cannot setup a lab environment as of yet. Blade servers are comming soon. XenServer here I come. Thanks for the insight, very useful links.
