Search C# Sql database

I have a webform that has a text box and a button on it.  At the moment a users will type a name into the text box and results are displayed below in a gridview.  It only searches for exact matches at the moment.  how do I make search use a contains funtion.  So for example is did a search for Davei'd also get David.
