I would like to run the Task Scheduler on one of our servers to erase a tape each day.  What parameter do I need to use with "ca_devmgr -erase" to do a Quick Erase Plus?

    Accepted Solution

    Syntax: ca_devmgr -erase [<adapter #> <scsi ID> <lun>] [q|qz|qw|l]

    Command: ca_devmgr -erase 2 3 4 -qz

    Where 2 is Adapter #
    3 is SCSI ID
    4 is LUN

Use -qz at the end to do a quick erase plus
