Problem with SquidGuard crashing Squid.

I have the following issue with SquidGuard 1.4 and Squid 3. I am trying to install this on Ubuntu Server 8.10.  The install goes OK  until I trying to get SquidGuard and squid talking.

The re-directs (redirecy_program statements) work  until I configure  blacklists in Squid Guard.
After doing this step the squid crashes and I cannot restart it until I remove the blacklists...

Any ideas on how to resolve this or troubleshooting steps I should take?

    Accepted Solution

Start the programs by console with strace before the actual executable to have debug informations. Probably it's a segmentation fault
