SBS 2008, installing SQL Server 2008

I want to install SQL Server 2008 on my SBS 2008 box.  (I know pros/cons.)  However, SBS 2008 installs SQL Server 2005 Express for the SBSMONITORING instance.  Can I simply upgrade the Express instance while installing 2008?

No need to upgrade that instance... and I wouldn't.

Just install SQL and create a new instance eg. SQL2008 or something like that. It should work just fine.

You should be able to run SQL and MSDE databases on the same server without a problem.

The only 2005 instance that appears to be running is SBSMONITORING.  Is it possible to move that db to a 2008 instance?

I suppose you could however I would HIGHLY recomend that you don't.

Just for my own education... Is it possible to move the Express instances?  If so, is it documented anywhere?
