PS 4.5 network printers not autocreating for clients

No network printers are autocreating.

Windows Terminal Services Configuration is set to allow for creating printers;
Print server was imported in Presentation Server Console and Drivers updated.
Policies created for each network printer by client name, so that any
user logging onto device should have printers created for that device.
Policies also set to use Universal Print Drivers if local driver not
available. Have also tried setting these to use ONLY the UPD.
Have also tried both policies for print routing, as well.

Event log has the 1106 error, but both Citrix KB articles relating to
this event do not solve problem.

Not sure what else to check.
Any ideas?

I am sorry but I cannot remember.  i have since been searcing on Citrix website and Brian Maddan and they both suspect that Citrix setup is OK.  They think that I don't have any trust between my print server and presentation server.  If this is the case, how do I get this trus?
From the print server can you ping the PS by NetBIOS and FQDN?

From the PS can you ping the print server by NetBIOS and FQDN?

Is there a HW or SW firewall running on either server?
There is no firewall or other security hardware / software on my PC.

I am sorry to sound really thick but how do I ping the PS and print server by netbois and FQDN?  Do you mean can I ping these from the PS and print server.
If so, I can.
If your domain is domain.com, the print server's name is prt01 and the xenapp server's name is xa01.

From prt01, ping xa01 and then ping xa01.domain.com

From xa01, print prt01 and then ping prt01.domain.com
Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.  yes I can ping these addresses.
Check to see if you have a Citrix Policy that covers this:

Presentation Server Console
Policies
Printing | Auto-creation

There you have the following options:

Auto-create all client printers
Auto-create local (non network) client printers only [sounds like this is set]
Auto-create the client's default printer only
Do not auto-create client printers

Hello Carl,
I am sorry to give bad news but I have tried the Citrix tips and also removed all my policies, apart from one which provides the session printer for my client.  Sadly the Printers from the external print server cannot be seen.
