Small Business Server RAS and DHCP. Internal adapter not getting IP address
Have a Small Business Server 2003 server with ISA 2004. Just out of the blue RAS can't get an IP address from DHCP for the internal adapter. The result is, of course, since it doesn't get an IP it can't give any to the clients. No IP's are reserved in DHCP for RAS either. Some address leases do show up with type of DHCP/BOOTP which I have never seen before.

If you configured RAS through its own wizard then this shouldn't happen. Try to reconfigure RAS again VIA the wizard.

I have disabled RRAS and reconfigured it using the SBS wizard. Still no good. I was on the phone with critical business support from Microsoft for 9 hours yesterday and they still haven't resolved it.

This is actually an issue with SBS 2003 ISA. Apply all up-to-date service packs and it clears the situation up.
