VB 6.0 Help file Error (MSDN doesn't exist)

I'm getting the following error when I try to go to the help file for VB 6.0:
The MSDN collection does not exist. Please reinstall MSDN.

I tried re-installing VB 6.0.  No help.

I don't have any disks for it.  How do I reinstall MSDN?

you need to re install MSDn, if you do not have msdn disks but have a msdn subscription, you can download from there

I don't understand.  You mean that you have to buy VB and then by the help for it separately?
There are lot of free web resources for VB6 help but if you want to use MSDN you have to buy it seperatly. As hes suggested on ebay you can get it for cheap.

What would you consider a good free help resource for someone with VBA experience but no VB or VBScript experience?

I found that I could use Visual Studio and it had VBScript help.
