Have a situation where I need to be able to print remotely using remote desktop connection. I will be connecting from a computer that has windows xp professional installed and I will be connecting to a server running server 2003. I have two seperate printers that I would like to use from seperate locations. One printer will be connected directly to the xp machine via usb and the second will be a homw network printer. On the 'Local Resources' tab the printers box is checked and I still can not print any ideas?

the printer drivers have to be installed on the server itself so it can relate the local printer over the terminal server connection

Is it a usb printer?  usb virtual ports have problems with terminal server.  Try net2printer, .  I use it everywhere and it works with multifunction usb local printers.
