Trying to figure out which APC software to use :

I am buying a new server, I have a smart UPS made by APC which I have never used before, it is a  120V 1500 model: I simply wish to know from an expert what software is best to use for this model: i came to a page on the site but thats it... below is my awaited server

Supermicro 1U chasssis with 2 hotswap bays and mounting kit
Preinstall with FreeBSD 7.x
1 x 22" Acer V223WBD LCD monitor

    you can use the apcupsd port in the sysuntils port tree.
