The ACT! 2006 database is a an MS SQL 2000 database. dBase (DBF) is quite an old technology.

You would need to export the data using something like itExport (http://www.glcomputing.com.au/main/64/1), then import it into a dBase file.

If you program you are trying to import with is trying to import an ACT! DBF file, that hasn't been an ACT! format since 6.0

Yeah, i know dbf is old, its used for a legacy label printing program we have here. What format can i export to using the itExport tool?

MDB (Access) or CSV and others.

You can download it and see if one of the formats will work for you
