Is the CMOS Battery working ?
Enter the BIOS setup and go to boot order and  try changing them

You should have another error with that message, like keyboard error, no pointing device detected or other similar errors. Check that error and see what's supposed to be attached and it's missing or not connected properly.

post a picture of that screen, then we can see what happens
check if the system time is correct -  or make a change in the bios, and save it.
then shutdown the pc ; disconnect it from AC for say, 10 minutes, and veriffy if the change was saved.

and you can reset the bios - check the mobo manual for the procedure, ort remove the battery for 10 sec - without AC power
