Add a new Domain in the same forest - Microsoft Live Communications Server 2007

I have configured and successfully running a LCS2007 environment in a single domain.  We recently added a new domain to the forest.  The AD schema appears to be there for the new domain.  There is a live communications tab in Active Directory and i am able to enable SIP for the users in the domain.  These users show up in the LCS console.  However when I attempt to log in as the user on the new domain I get an error that the account is not found.

I decided to run a validation on the setup with the user account in question.  I receive the following error

User **user in new domain**  Domain **First Domain in Forest** Protocol Kerberos Server sip Targer Invalidated.

Basically it appears my setup is only configured to look for the user in the original domain.  Does anyone know how I can add or prep the new domain in the same forest to work?

are you planning on putting an ocs 2007 server in the new domain or will users from the new domain use the ocs server in the existing domain ?

I would prefer to use the existing ocs 2007 server and have the new domain use it.

ok, so you need to prep your child domain if you havent done so.
Simply run the OCS setup in your child domain and choose prep domain.
