I select File > Export to export a war file.

How should I configure web.xml and server.xml under tomcat conf?

Do I just place *.war file under webapps folder?

You can use the command jar to package a jar file. A war file is the same thing that a jar file just change .jar for .war.

If you want to deploy it to remote Tomcat server you need to contact to your administrator to know if you can use war files and where to put them.

    Good luck
