Installing XP Pro on a Dell Server with a backplane

I have a new PowerEdge 840 with two SATA hard drives in a backplane.  It was my intention to set up a RAID 1 mirror.  When I try to install XP Pro it doesn't see and hard drives.  What do I need to do to get XP installed in this configuration?

When installing Press F6 at the begining of the install and load the drivers for the Drives.  You see the prompt for select F6  scroll on the bottom of the screen during the first couple minutes during the install.

That appears to be correct but when I get there it has me hit S to specify the drivers then gives me a message "Setup could not find a floppy disk drive on your to load OEM drivers from floppy disk - Pres ESC to cancel loading OEM drivers - Press F3 to quit setup"

It never gives me the option to load from any other media and obviously I don't have them on floppy.  Where did I go wrong?

XP only supports loading drivers from a floppy using F6 during setup, if you don't have a floppy you'll need to slipstream the drivers onto an xp cd, I use Nlite(www.nliteos.com) to slipstream my xp cds. You won't need to use f6 once the drivers are slipstreamed.
