Copies files and folders using Robocopy.

Hi,

I need to copy all the data from file server running Windows 2003 STD to Windows 2008 Datacenter, copying all the permissions, NTFS permissions, attributes etc. so when its done copying all I have to do is change server name in log in script so clients can access data.
I downloaded Robocopy GUI and copied D:\folderA\temp to \\windowsxp\folderA\temp it created temp folder and copied all the files within it but NTFS permissions are not same
under copy options I have selected "COPYALL" and /R:3 is checked
Can someone please explain what am I doing wrong? I need to copy all the permissions.

THanks,

If all the files have been copied over.. use this doc.. to copy over the permissions seperately

Can you please tell me what was the reason or error on my part that it did not copy everything when it ran, because if I copy over 200G of data I need to make sure it work without any issues.

It did work using command line option, but one group domain/administrators does not replicate, do you know why?

Thanks,
