What Software is on the clients of my network

I have a small network of about 50 users on a windows 2003 ad. i would llike to know what software applications are running on each of the clients all xp pro ie what version of office, adobe etc. Is there any software out there that can scan the network and bring back this info. Prefareaby free software of course.....

    A quick solutions for 50 machines would be psinfo from Microsoft (free)
    You can use the -s switch to just see the applications on the boxes.
    It can be used agains the remote boxes.

    Spiceworks - Great Tool for many other things than what you need it for and its FREE!!

    Also you can try Belarc Advisor but this has to be installed on each client and easier to use
