Restoring Trust Relationship Between SBS and Vista Business Client

Hi, I recently had a user who after a power outage, received the error "the trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed"

Research indicates that disconnecting and then reconnecting the workstation to the domain will reestablish the trust relationship.

My question is can I just delete the computer from the server management console and then recreate the computer account without causing any issues? Will this be as effective as logging on to the workstation disconnecting from the domain and then rejoining?

no it will not.

You should remove the computer, delete the computer from server management, and then rejoin the computer.

by "remove the computer" I mean leave the domain from the computer.

To be very clear--I need to log on at the workstation, remove the domain--then do I need to remove the computer from the server as well or just rejoin the domain?

Thanks.
