Outlook Meeting Responses end up in Deleted Items

Hey gang,

I have several users that send out meeting requests to several people at a time for meetings.

As an example, User A will send a meeting request to Users B, C & D.  When all three accept, User A will get responses from user B & C in his inbox, but user D's response always goes to his deleted items folder.  I checked outlook and there are no rules in play that would do this.  We are using Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2007.

Has anyone else seen this or have any ideas what could cause this?

Thanks you

Rules, junk mail settings, something like that.
It has to be something in the client.

Building on Mesth'a comment.

Does sound like a rule that may be causing this.
You may not necessarily see them in the rules list.
Sometimes can happen after a recent Outlook upgrade.

On one of the affected users, check the rules that they are using.
Make note of them.

Then close Outlook and Start by using
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /cleanrules

This will clear all custom rules for that account.

Now test and see if the response goes to the deleted folder.

Then go back and re-create the users rules that they may have had setup before.

Otherwise, If the above does not correct the issue

You can try opening Outlook in Safe Mode
Start>Run>outlook.exe /safe

Test in Safe mode

If it does not happen in safe mode there may be an add-in that is causing this to happen.

Apparently it may have something to do with Xobni.  When I run outlook in safe mode on her pc, without Xobni, everything works fine.  It's either a hidden thing that doesn't come into play when starting in safe mode, or something within Xobni itself.

Has anyone seen these types of issues with Xobni?

I found the issue.

There is a checkbox under tracking options labeled "Delete blank voting and meeting responses after processing"

I unchecked this box and life is good.
