HP DesignJet 650C - Driver Problem

I have an HP DesignJet 650C plotter.  It has the current drivers installed (no recent updates).  Some items printed will have the colors confused, that is; a white background wil print as blue, and other colors will print differently than specified.  These same items will print correctly on other printers, i.e., HP DesignJet 850.  This occurs with schedules printed by Suretrak.  Other items such as maps printed from DeLorme X-map will print with 98% of the colors correct, with maybe just a no-color area of a title block appears as a color.

I would appreciate any suggestions that will help me resolve this problem.

It is connected to an XP system via parallel cable.  I am building up a new worksatation so it will be tried with that soon.

or can you test another parallel printer on the system?
Did it work before?

I would like to close this item.  I found the problem was due to the use of the wrong print processor.  My trial and error I found that WinPrint - Raw provided the correct configuraton.
