Crystal Reports 2008 Cross-tab, can you hide the horizontal column headers?

I have a bunch of sub-reports that report data in cross tabs. I have about 5 per page, and because the columns are all the same I have the situation where on each sub-report the column heading is repeated for each one.

I can hide them by setting the font to white / borders to white, but this seems a bit dodgy, is there a better way to do this?

Typically, Automated Crosstabs are somewhat limited in being customized. They are really an easy way to create a quick summary of basic data from your report.

You can right-click the topLEFT corner of the crosstab to invoke the options menu..and hide certain heading etc...but again..it is somewhat limited.

For MORE customized Crosstab looking reporting....you'll need to create a Manual Crosstab using the main report.

Agree.  I think you are doing it the best way possible.

Is it possible to gather the data in each subreport then display it all in a single cross tab in a final subreport or do you need it summarized for each subreport?

summarized in each sub-report.  I probably could create my own cross tabs but they would be quite complex but its simpler using the cross tab.

Is it just me or has theere actuall been any major charting / cross-tab improvements in crystal reports recently?
