We use Symantec Client firewall v8 on our XP Pro laptops.
When changing any part of the client policy on the Symantec Antivirus server, and pushing that policy to the laptops via the Symantec System Centre console, the client software will pop up with a window asking the user to select which network they wish to join. This network will be the network they are currently connected to, and will be the office subnet, 10.0.0.0/16
I would love to know if there is a way to remove this popup from appearing? We would like to make amendments to the policy and make these changes 'invisible' to the user. Is this possible within the Symantec console? I have looked at many options and there doesn't appear to be a method for hiding the pop-up and 'auto-selecting' the network?
