Sap business one - Have dialog box pop up on if Userdefined field 1 > userdefined field 2

Hi All,

Im wondering if its possible to have a dialog box pop up should UserDefined1 be greater than userdefined2.  They are both dates and the text inputted into the dialogbox should be saved into userdefined3.

I hope this makes sense im just wondering if its possible to do without calling an expensive SAP team out!

Sure it's possible, it's just running a report. But the user would have to trigger it somehow. You can't have a background event trigger a dialog transaction to happen. In the old days you could create or use a userexit in the login code, but I think that's restricted now.
