Hi
I am currently setting up a copier with scanning facility.  The scanner can e-mail scans and access the exchange addresses via LDAP.
I have put in the address for the LDAP server but the addresses do not appear on the copier and there are no error messages.
I have tried to check LDAP with softerra ldap browser 2.6 and this returns a can't connect error.
Any ideas/suggestions out there?
Regards

Make sure you have all the correct bind settings (user account to perform the search of the directory).
What settings are you using in the User DN field to connect.

Make sure you use the correct format heres a demo

CN=Display Name,OU=IT Dept,OU=User Accounts,DC=domain,DC=co,DC=uk,

Is this setting listed somewhere?
go into softerra

create a new server connection
in the properties for the server connection

General Tab

enter ip for host
port 389 (standard port)
try protocal ver 3
and the base should be your domain like so DC=domain,DC=co,DC=uk (domain.co.uk)

Credential Tab

User DN CN=Display Name,OU=IT Dept,OU=User Accounts,DC=domain,DC=co,DC=uk,
(which would look like this in a domain tree domain.co.uk/User Accounts/IT Dept/Display Name)

enter password and confirm.

Once you have got a succesful connection then use this as a template and enter into copier.
