Https & Http website issue

Hello,

I have a website which has an http address and an https address both point to the same site, however the https site always prompts me to download active content and also prompts to display secure - nonsecure items which I select yes to, the webpage then refreshes and I am prompted again to install the active components etc, the site just keeps on looping in this way.

Both sites are trusted in the group policy applied to the machines, I'm just wondering did I need to specify something else for the https site to work.

The reason you get the error about displaying non secure items is if you connect to the site using https and there is an absolute reference to a http item.. Maybe you have a picture being loaded like this..
Check your source..
With reagrds to the active X control.. I am unsure why this would be the case.. I am preusming this is an internal published sites so I can't take a look...

Okay so thats potentially half the solution, I'll get the code checked on the site.

Still the Active X controls don't load on the https site but do on the http site, perhaps its a similiar issue...
