Entourage 2008 crashes when previewing message
I have 3 MAC clients here, two running Entourage 2008 and one Entourage 2004...all being served by Exchange Server. For the past few weeks one of the clients will crash (automatically close and show an "unexpected close" message) when attempting to open random emails. At first I thought it was specific senders or just messages with attachments. However there is no specific pattern. If I turn off the auto-preview he can select the message, but not open it. At times I have been able to use this technique to drag the message out of the inbox into another folder and open it. I have also had some success when I open Entourage in safe mode.
Originally he had 2004 when this started so we upgraded him to 2008. I have also tried compacting and repairing the database. Finally I deleted his local copy of the database and let it recreate from the Exchange server. Nothing has helped. Neither of the other two machines have had this issue and all three are brand new iMacs.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried recreating his Exchange account through Entourage on another Mac? If this works, you know that its specific to that machine, not his Exchange account. If its reproduced on another machine, you may be looking at a corrupted account.
Try removing the exchange account and then deleting any Entourage settings from the Library found in users/username/library/cac hes/metada ta/microso ft/entoura ge.
Delete the Entourage folder as a whole then when you run the application again you should find that it will recreate accordingly once you re-set up your account etc.
Also try running Microsoft Office updates too to make sure Microsoft haven't covered the bug in an update :)
