when we vcs failover from one node to another node. volume manager getting error " VxVM vxdg ERROR V-5-1-10978 Disk group db_t1_fs: import failed:  No valid disk found containing disk group."
SAN disk unable to import. please help

OS : solaris 10, vcs version = 5.0 & server model : M5000, please move to appropriate zone

Do you see your SAN disk on the other node

is it EMC clariion or DMX ?

yes, i can see the SAN disk, using DMX

when you type a syminq  you see your disk in the correct state R1 and R2

not re'd right solution
The storage disks are not visible ( may be 1 or all) on the host. Do the format on the system and compare it with the format on the system from which you are importing the dg.
