2003 Terminal Services license recovery

I lost one of our Terminal Servers yesterday and I have since re-installed 2003 server on another partition. I am wondering if there is any way for me to access the licenses from the files on the other partition as I have lost my original certificates. I just need to get the re-installed server re-licensed with the original licenses. Thanks!

If the olf terminal server was the TS license server as well, then that's not possible; the TS licenses are tied to the server on which they were activated and can not be moved to another machine. You'll have to activate the new license server, call the Microsoft Clearinghouse, and let them issue you new licenses (keep your current licenses at hand when calling). If you have a W2k3 DC, it's better to install TS licensing there. A DC usually has less risk of having to be rebuilt than a terminal server.

It was indeed a 2003 DC. I suppose I will need to contact the Clearinghouse to get this sorted. Thanks!
