I have an infragistics ultra combo box (multi-column combobox) that we use to select patients. &nbsp;Once the patient is selected information is populated into the text boxes for possible editing. The ultracombo has all the information that is displayed in the text boxes. For simplification let's say I have a patient with a patientid, patientLastName, and PatientFirstname. The combobox would show the patients lastname and fiirstname with appropriate headers (patientid would be hidden). <br />

The issue I am having is if I sort the combo box (by user interaction during runtime) by another column the indexing seems to get thrown out of whack. If I sort by firstname the combo box will sort accordingly however the text box will no longer match what is selected in the combobox. <br />

Would I have to rebind to the datasource in order for this to work, or is it something else?<br />
