I setup a small network. 2 computers. Desktop - HP VISTA Home Premium, connected to router via ethernet cable. Laptop Toshiba VISTA Home Premium, connected via WEP wireless to router. I have sharing setup and can share files and printers fine. BUT... When I go to setup new printer on the laptop, and go through the setup, it sees the KODAK printer on the desktop, but when I click on it and click next. It says: "Windows cannot connect to the printer. Make sure that you have typed the name correctly, and that the printer is connected to the network." The first time I did this It worked, but then the printer was not available after a restart, so when I try to connect it as a networked printer again, it gives me this problem. I bypassed windows firwall-no change. I an running Bitdefender Antivirus 2009. Thanks in advance..

Try turning off the firewall in bitdefender, or disable the program altogether. Many times if exclusions are net setup properly after an update you will lose connection. Double check that you have the same username and password in the vista desktop as you do in the laptop.
