Some users cant see newley created groups in the GAL in Exchange 2007?
I have a couple users that are not able to see groups that are created. They are using exchange 2007 as well as me. I am able to see the group almost immediatly. They are running download GAL and still nothing. I also have the GAL updating every 15 minutes. Any ideas??

the interval teh GAL is sent out.............I also had them do a manual download from outlook and it still did not show up.
The only thing that you can change is the generation time for the OAB. Nothing else can be changed. You cannot change the time between Outlook downloading a new copy of the GAL. Microsoft also do not recommend running the OAB being regenerated that often, it can bog down the server.

Ok I checked and its not every 15 minutes. Its like twice a day.

Any ideas why these users cant see the group?

If they are in cached mode then the OAB is only regenerated once a day by default, and Outlook only downloads it once a day automatically, or when Outlook is restarted.
