How do I connect IIS website to a SAN?

Medium Priority
Last Modified: 2012-05-06
I created a Web Site under IIS 6 on a Windows 2003 server. There is a SAN mapped to the server using DataPlow. When I try to access the website, I am prompted with a User Name and Password dialog window.
How do I setup IIS and or Window Server 2003 to access the website with out login credentials?
My end-goal is to server large video files from the SAN through the website.

If you're going anonymous access route grant IUSR_<MACHINE> permissions to read the files.

If not whatever groups/accounts you need add to the directory on the SAN.

The Security tab is unavailable in the folder's properties, so I went to the DataPlow manager and added IUSR_<MACHINE> to the Share Permissions. I still was unable to access the website without a user name and password. Could there be an issue with my SAN setup?

SAN needs to be configured to allow access to that account as well.  Not familiar with dataplow . . . but the prompt means it's definitely a permission issue.
